Obama Community Activism In Schools

Our fearless leader Czar Obama is going back to his wheelhouse of community activism when on Sept. 8 he will deliver a televised back-to-school address to K-12 students and it is drawing fire from some conservatives, who say he's just trying to indoctrinate them to his political beliefs.

In the planned televised speech on Sept. 8 speech, Obama will challenge students to work hard, set goals for their education and take responsibility for their learning, Education Secretary Arne Duncan said in a letter to principals.
"He will also call for a shared responsibility and commitment on the part of students, parents and educators to ensure that every child in every school receives the best education possible so they can compete in the global economy for good jobs and live rewarding and productive lives as American citizens."

Where have we heard the word 'shared' from Mr. Obama before? Is Joe the Plumber still out there? Mr. Obama will be indoctrinating them into the 'share this, share that' Obama socialist mantra. Unfortunately by the time these young people hit middle-age there won't be anything left for them to share given the federal debt Mr. Obama is creating for their futures!

The chairman of the Florida Republican Party is condemning Obama's speech as an attempt to indoctrinate America's children to his socialist agenda. "The idea that school children across our nation will be forced to watch the President justify his plans for government-run health care, banks, and automobile companies, increasing taxes on those who create jobs, and racking up more debt than any other President, is not only infuriating, but goes against beliefs of the majority of Americans, while bypassing American parents through an invasive abuse of power," Chairman Jim Greer said in a press release.

Well I imagine Mr. Obama is a little frazzled over his first 7 months in office with his policies a roadmap for disaster in America, a sagging economy, 10% unemployment, a disastrous health care proposal with virtually no American support and a presidential popularity rating that is dropping faster than the laws of physics will permit.

The 9/2/09 Rasmussen presidential tracking poll has him at a 40% strongly disapproval level. So he's going back to his roots and what he actually has a skill set for, community activism. Unfortunately his wheelhouse is not as commander-in chief of the most important country on the planet. One wonders if Mr. Obama's enforcers ACORN will be at the schools handing out pamphlets, tee shirts and buttons about their hero and intimidating 10 year olds to register democrat?
