THE U.S. MARINE CORPS IS AMERICA'S PREMIER EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, READY TO PROTECT OUR NATION'S INTERESTS ON THE BATTLEFIELD AND BEYOND.
Since 1775 the U.S. Marine Corps has been winning battles and defending our nation. When our nation’s commitment to democracy is challenged, when our national interests are threatened, in times of international disaster, crisis, or war the Marine Corps is ready.
The Marine Corps will be first on the scene, first to help and first to fight. For this they have earned the reputation as “America’s 911 Force” — our nation’s first line of defense. The Marine Corps is ready to respond on the ground, in the air and by sea. This integrated approach distinguishes the Marine Corps as the United States’ premier expeditionary force.
The U.S. Marine Corps' three core values- honor, courage, and commitment- can be summed up by the following quote: "I have just returned from visiting the Marines at the front, and there is not a finer fighting organization in the world!" Gen. Douglas MacArthur, USA; Korea, 21 September 1950.
God bless the brave, dedicated men and woman of the U.S. Marine Corps who, as their motto semper fidelis says, are always faithful to our country, it's citizens, their mission and themselves.
